Do you want to have an online photo gallery but don't have the time to do the setup work it requires? Firstly, you have to resize the photos into thumbnail size, upload the photos one by one and then you need to design the page itself. You can do these manually or you could use Folderblog.

Folderblog is a free PHP script that automatically generates gallery of images located in a single directory. Best of all, you don't need to have a database to use it. You can use the page made by Folderblog as a gallery, blog or anything you want with it. The PHP code can be easily integrated any PHP code in the template pages.

Folderblog is easy to install. Just upload the files to your web server and you're good to go. Upload your photos to a single folder and let Folderblog do the rest. It can automatically create thumbnails for your images. You have the option to square the thumbnails. You can also opt to have the photos loop. It features an RSS feed as well. What's also nice about this script is that it generates a current.jpg and random.jpg in the thumbnail directory. This is good for linking your Folderblog page from other pages in your web site.

Folderblog version 3 requires a server running PHP 4.3.1. If your server is running PHP version lower than 4.3 than you can use Folderblog version 2.02. Basic PHP knowledge is also required.
