Find That Perfect Shade with ColorPic
December 26th, 2007

Web designers and even bloggers can be a picky lot when it comes to colors. The shade must be perfect, complementing the main idea behind the site. However, there will be times when the right color is found on another site and there is no way to know the exact color value. If you do find yourself in that situation, never fear, ColorPic is here.
ColorPic allows you to pick any color in your screen and save it in a custom palette. To start picking colors, just download and run the installer. Getting to use the program is as simple as choosing an empty color slot, grabbing the desired color, and it’s now part of your palette. Eight different custom made palettes are also available for those basic color needs. The information screen for ColorPic gives you details about the chosen color. The WebSnap and Hexadecimal codes are clearly shown for easy copy and pasting. If you are not satisfied with the shade, sliders for the Hue, Saturation and other options are available. With ColorPic, there is no need to grope blindly for that perfect shade.
ColorPic is compatible with Win9x/ME/2000/XP. Basic HTML knowledge is needed to apply the color values in HTML.
